MENTORING PROGRAMME FOR 2026/2027

Applications for the 2026/2027 mentoring programme are now closed.

The programme is currently in the matching phase. During October and November 2026, mentor and mentee applications are being reviewed and potential mentoring pairs are being identified. Proposed matches will be discussed with both participants before the mentoring relationship is confirmed.

Timeline

  • June–September 2026: open call for mentors and mentees
  • October–November 2026: review of applications and mentor–mentee matching
  • December 2026–October 2027: mentoring programme
  • October–December 2027: evaluation of the pilot year

Mentoring is a way to share experience and advice with early-stage researchers to help them discover their potential and succeed in the academic or application sectors. The goal of mentoring is to support young people at the beginning of their scientific careers in their development as experts.
